I’m a maternity, newborn, children, and family photographer based in West Fargo, ND, with a soft spot for creating moments you’ll treasure forever. Basically, I’m here to freeze time (not literally—I’m not a wizard) so you can hold onto those beautiful, fleeting memories.
My Story
I’ve had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. Growing up, you’d often find me chasing light and snapping photos in my backyard woods or at the neighbor's barn, where I gave horses their close-ups. I guess you could say I was an artist and a little bit of a cowgirl.
Fast forward to my teen years, when I landed a job at a senior photography studio in Grand Forks. Not only did I fall in love with the magic of studio photography, but I also met my husband there—on Valentine's Day, no less! (Cue the “aww’s.”)
After college, I upgraded to my first DSLR camera, and soon enough, I found myself photographing my friends, their babies, and eventually my very first official session: in the NICU at Essentia. Even today, those tender moments hold a special place in my heart.
In 2021, I packed my bags and headed to Orlando for an intensive 4-day workshop with world-renowned newborn photography teacher Ana Brandt. That experience was the spark I needed to officially launch my business. And here we are: I’m capturing joy, love, and connection every single day, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Life not behind the camera
I’ve been to Italy twice, and I still dream of gelato daily.
I have four tattoos—though let’s be real, I’m probably not stopping there.
My cat’s name is Cleopatra (and yes, she lives up to her queenly title).
I foster kittens and dogs because the only thing better than one furry friend is ten.
Once upon a time in college, I won a prestigious equestrian competition. Horse girl status: confirmed.
